PortableBidet Multi-Purpose Holder – Suction Cup + Adhesive Wall Mount

Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026.

Nothing in this policy limits or removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UK consumer law.

1. 14-day cancellation right for eligible online orders

For most eligible online consumer purchases, you may notify PortableBidet that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, then return the goods within a further 14 days. No reason is required where the statutory cancellation right applies.

2. Hygiene-sealed products

The PortableBidet is a personal-hygiene product. UK cancellation rules provide an exception for sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once they become unsealed after delivery. PortableBidet will rely on that exception only where the product was supplied with a genuine seal/tamper-evident hygiene barrier and the legal conditions are met.

• If the hygiene seal remains intact, an otherwise eligible change-of-mind return may be accepted within the cancellation period.
• If the sealed hygiene product becomes unsealed after delivery, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may be lost where the exception applies.
• This hygiene exception does not remove rights where goods are faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.

3. Condition of an eligible change-of-mind return

Where a change-of-mind return is eligible, please return the complete product, accessories, instructions and packaging with the hygiene seal intact where applicable. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, subject to applicable law.

4. How to cancel or request a return

Contact us within the applicable time limit and provide the order number, purchaser name/email and a clear statement that you wish to cancel or return the order. You may also use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but use of the form is not mandatory.

5. Return authorisation and address

We may issue return instructions and a return reference so the parcel can be matched to the order. The returns address must be the verified operational return location; do not send returns to the general correspondence address unless instructed.

6. Change-of-mind return postage

Where the law allows, the customer pays the direct cost of returning change-of-mind goods. Please use a service suitable for the value of the parcel and retain proof of posting. If we offer a prepaid label, any lawful deduction or charge will be disclosed before it is imposed.

7. Refund timing and payment method

Where a refund is due following cancellation, we will refund using the original payment method unless another lawful method is agreed. Refund timing follows applicable law, including the rules that generally require reimbursement within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that the goods were sent back, whichever applies.

8. Original outbound delivery charge

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, the refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. Any additional amount paid solely for a premium/express upgrade may not be refundable to the extent permitted by law.

9. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where the law requires. Contact us if you believe the product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or misdescribed. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods.

10. Fault reported within 30 days

Where the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives a short-term right to reject faulty goods, you may be entitled to a refund. The precise remedy depends on the facts and applicable law. We may request reasonable evidence of the fault, such as a description, photo or video, but we will not use evidence requests to unfairly block statutory rights.

11. Faults after 30 days

Depending on timing and circumstances, repair or replacement may be the first statutory remedy before a price reduction or final rejection/refund. Our voluntary warranty operates in addition to these rights and does not replace them.

12. Transit damage and incorrect items

If the wrong item arrives or goods are damaged in transit, contact us with the order details and, where available, photographs. Prompt reporting helps courier and stock investigations, but internal reporting targets do not remove your legal rights.

13. Misuse and intentional damage

We are not responsible under the voluntary warranty for damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, inappropriate charging, non-water liquids, accidental damage or deliberate damage. However, a warranty exclusion cannot remove mandatory consumer rights for an underlying product defect.

14. Fraud and chargebacks

We may investigate suspected return fraud, identity/payment fraud, duplicate refund attempts, materially false non-delivery claims or chargeback abuse. Records may be provided to payment providers, couriers or relevant authorities where lawful. Please contact us first where possible so genuine issues can be investigated and resolved.

15. Exchanges

For hygiene and stock-control reasons, we may process an eligible unopened return and ask you to place a new order rather than operate a direct exchange. Faulty-goods remedies remain governed by applicable law.

16. Contact

To request a return or cancellation: sales@portablebidet.uk, 020 4586 9230. Never send payment credentials or identity documents through ordinary email.
